Does Ear Perforation Make Me Medically Unfit For An Army Doctor?

i've right ear perforation....i had an infection which was cured by the drops suggested by doctor.
About perforation recovery, i was told to wait few months and see if ear drums recovers itself....unfortunately there's no development.
What should i do...? should i get it operated by the doctor?
i've applied as an army doctor,so this perforation makes me medically unfit.....is there any chance of getting skipped from the eyes of doctor if i get my ear operated.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Your ear perforation not resolved with time spontaneously .....

So Surgical approach has to be established ....
You needs to do myringoplasty repair for not only getting medical fit but also to avoid future infection and more hearing loss.......

In medical check up they will examine each organ esp in army ...So no hope for escape from it ....

You can consult ENT surgeon for that ...

Don't worry ...

Take care ....
