Does Duromine Increases Heart Rate? What Does It Mean To Have High Lipid Levels?

hi I have been prescribed duromine and after reading all the warning signs have a few concerns in relation to how the drug speeds up the heart rate and for people who have hardening of their arteries-how do we know if this is the case and what are high lipid levels?

hi,
Your concern is reasonable. The drug Duramine is banned in many countries due to the issues of cardiac safety.
It stimulates your adrenal glands and promotes the release of adrenaline and norepinephrine which are potent catabolic hormones that speeds heart rate and also burns fat (one of the reason why it is used in obesity). you may check your heart rate within 2 hours of taking the tablet to find whether it induces rate or not in you.
High lipid levels mean high cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides in your blood that increases the risk of cardiac diseases.
hope this helped.
