Does Drinking Cold Water During Pregnancy Shrink The Size Of Baby?
hi. am 38 weeks pregnant and have a great urge for drinking ice water. i have been told it can shrink the size of the baby. is this true? also, i feel a deep pressure on my anus. could this also be an effect of the intake of cold water or something else.

HI, I understand your concern. - Ice water can be taken in pregnancy without any harm to baby. So you can take ice water & satisfy your thirst. You should take provided you don't get sore throat following it. - Neither does ice water have any effect on bowels. So the pressure have on anus is not due to ice water. It can be pressure of baby head ,as it decinds down in 38th week of pregnancy. It might be gasses,indigestion/constipation common in pregnancy,causing this pressure. Thanks
