Does Diabetes Cause Pain In Hand And Arm?

I am told I am border line diabetic and my right hand during this last week is tingling and a little in my right arm, nothing on the left side. I have just recovered from cellulitis in my left foot and leg which was very bad, but better now, I am 78 this year and my father and grandmother had diabetes, no doubt I have now?

Hello,
Although these symptoms of your suggest diabetic peripheral neuropathy but since you are only borderline diabetic,I don't think it is diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
I would advise you to get your VIT B12 and VIT D levels checked up because their deficiency can result in similar symptoms.Alcoholism can also cause such symptoms.
Keep observing proper dietary control and be active physically.
Kerp a regular watch on your blood sugar levels.
Thanks
