Does Dementia Cause Gait Imbalance, Leg Cramps And Urinary Incontinence?
I have been diagnosed with Dementia. I have been going to Doctors for the last 6 months trying to figure out what s going on with me. I have a deterioration of my memory, I had a brain anuerson approximately 5 years ago. With my dementia I have severe unbalance. I can t walk on my own as I fall. I am in a lot pain. Could you determine if these other symptom are part of dementia? My mom had dementia also and I don t remember these other symptoms. I also wet myself and have leg cramps.
As per your clinical history is concerned you have suffering from dementia so you require a physical examination by your neurologist and your neurologist will advise you one MRI scanning to know the cause responsible for your dementia. So treatment will be as per pathological causes only. You have described about other symptoms and want to know if these are cognate to dementia or not and I may verbalize these are associated with many neurological disorders but start from [Parkinson's disease]if you have tremor present or post cerebral stroke if you have past high blood pressure.
Hope that helps
