Does Dehydration, Dizzy Spells And Vertigo Indicate Giardia?

I get dehydrated on a regular basis even when I am meticulus about proper hydration in all types of weather and during vigorous physical activities. I also get bloated quite often in fairly regular intervals almost similar to a woman's menstrual period, with accompanying cramps. I get dizzy spells during these outbreaks and occasionally experience mild vertigo. Could this be giardia?

Hello,
giardia typically has symptoms of profuse watery diarrhea and abdominal cramping . Your explanation does not include if this symptom is present. Additionally it is hard to tell from your question what makes you feel "dehydrated". If you have loss of water, from vigorous activity or bowel movements etc, the symptoms you explain dizziness/vertigo etc, can be correlated to that alone. It is difficult to tell if you have the infection giardia from your question stem, but if you are concerned they can do stool tests to confirm.
