I recently have experimented with crystal meth and after a couple days of use, I began to have menstral bleeding. I am on the IUD and since getting the implant a year ago, I haven t had any bleeding other than occasional spotting. The bleeding I m currently having isnt as heavy as an average period but enough to need a regular size tampon. There are also small clots. My question is, can crystal meth cause my IUD birth control to become ineffective? As in not prevent pregnancy? I want to make sure I m not at risk of getting pregnant.
