Does Cramps And Sore Nipples With Gassy Feeling Indicate Pregnancy?

Hi I ovulated 5 days ago, and have been trying to have a baby. My fiancee and I had unprotected sex today I feel very tired, bloated, crampy and I have sore nipples. Also the past 2 days I have been very bloated and gassy. Could this mean I am pregnant.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. if you ovulated five days ago, the ovum would have remained active for a maximum period of 24 hours following which conception is not possible. If you had the sexual intercourse five days after ovulation, pregnancy is not possible. Please remember that the sperm can remain active for 72 hours, sometimes even up to 5 days, while the ovum is short-lived. Regular sexual intercourse, at least on alternate days is needed around the ovulation period for conception to occur. Your symptoms are suggestive of premenstrual phase. You do not experience any pregnancy symptoms so soon after conception, even if it may be. Hope this helps.
