Does Chronic Smoking Affect The Male Sperm?

I just found out that my husband has been smoking for the last three years. My concern is if the nicotine in his sperm could be having an affect to my cervix or cause tumors. When I reflect back I've had so many instances where in the morning after my vagina was burning. But I just followed through with my routine of lots of cranberry juice, water, and sometimes yeast pills, etc. Although in a lot of cases I think that I did not have yeast infection just a reaction to his semen.

Tumors. Unlikely. Burning... wouldn't rule it out. Chemicals in the semen are well-known to do that. Smoking has a lot of chemicals..... It is likely that the odd pH (acidity....well, technically the LACK of acidity) of semen is going to accumulate chemicals into it.

And, I would mention that sexual dysfunction is doubled with smoking. Sexual problems, including the wife not liking the smoking), are one of the strongest determinants/stimulants/motivators of people quitting smoking.

Just saying.

Testable with a blood cotinin test or deep kissing. The relative sensitivity of these have not been compared.
