Does Change In Diet And Lifestyle Cause Serious Medical Conditions?

32, 5'7", 185lbs, grandfather and father has diabetes
("brief" history) i was very active growing up, ate chicken, turkey and tuna most meals (rarely had beef), ate fruit instead of candy, drank water instead of sodas because i was always running around dehydrated and never did any drugs, but since i turned 30 my diet has changed, i don't exercise anymore and i started partying regularly, in the past 6 months during various activities such as drinking alcohol, dancing at a club, smoking certain herbs, eating big meals, taking certain drugs, my heart rate elevates to fast strong beat, my mouth gets super dry, i break out in cold sweats, feel faint and dizzy, this last for a few hours and then goes away
("question") i had a fatty meal 6 hours ago and 2 hours ago my heartburn woke me up so i popped 8 tums (12g sugar) and my heart started racing and just started to slow down, my blood glucose level has been fluctuating from 111-119 the entire time, im getting sleepy again and i would like to know what kind of damage could this level cause me if it stays in that range while i sleeping over the next 6-8 hours
thank you for your time and advice

The level of blood sugars you mention is not particularly worrisome. It won't cause any damage over 6 to 8 hours of sleep. What you should be worried about causing damage are the poor habits you've developed since you turned 30. These are much more likely to cause much damage. You are predisposed to diabetes because of your family history, and what you are doing will likely cause it to come on in short order. You had wonderful habits growing up and your best bet to prevent further damage to your body is to resume those and quit the damaging program you've begun in the last couple of years. Hope this helps. If you have more questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
