Hallow Dear,

Pregnancy is characterized by stoppage of menstruation completely. Any bleeding, particularly brown bleeding is considered as a bad sign which may be threatening the life of the baby.

So, no! Brown bleeding is never a sign of pregnancy.

The (brown) bleeding you are getting is most likely to be due to the withdrawal of Depo Progesterone. May be within a couple of days you will start normal period like bleeding. As it is the amount of the bleeding has already started increasing.

Wait for this period to pass and then take a decision about contraception or pregnancy.

I hope this helps you.
