Does Black Molasses Help To Restore Grey Hair Again To Turn Black?
Hello I m 23yr old girl. Don t but since past few months I have got sudden appearnce of grey hairs. Went to dermatologists suggested me altris gel. I want to ask u abt black molasses. Will it help me to restore my grey hair again to turn black. Can I take black molasses as supplements.
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic, Premature Greying is still a poorly understood entity. The causes suggested are genetic, Vitamin deficiencies, Stress etc. The treatment recommended is vitamin supplements with atleast 100 to 200 mg of calcium pantothenate. Even Biotin and anti oxidants help. Altris gel is a relatively new product that has come in the market (Melitane) which has peptide which stimulates the pigment producing cells of hair. Sufficient experience is not yet available for it. Even I prescribe that for my patients. Black molasses is rich in copper and antioxidants. The rationale of its success in premature greying is its anti oxidant action. However proper studies have not been done and as an allopathic doctor, I have not studied about it , therefore won't prescribe at the same time won't ask you not to use it. It is your call and maybe worth a try. Hope this helped, Take care.
