Does Appendectomy Cause Rectal Bleeding In A Pregnant Woman?

My daughter is 25 and had a laproscopic appendectomy 10 days ago and just today she is experiencing rectal bleeding. Before this occurred She returned to the hospital 5 days ago with pain in her stomach and was informed she was 5 wks pregnant and sent home.(1st pregnancy). My concern is if the blood is an indicator of a problem arising from the surgery or a pregnancy related issue (constipation/hemorroid?) She said it was hard to determine but it seemed like alot of blood. if it is due to the surgery is this common or is this a cause for worry and should she return to the hospital?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and from the history given here I would like to advise that if there is history of laparoscopic surgery done and now having bleeding per rectum then this need to be inform the surgeon and get done the clinical examine to rule out the certain possibility of trauma and lesions, take care and have a nice day.
