Does Antibiotics Interfere With Contraception?
Hi, I ve been on microgynan 30 for nearly 3 years now and today I was put on co-amoxiclav for a kidney infection. I had my period/pill break last week and just want to know if I will get another one while I m on the antibiotics as I know they cancel out the contraception.

Antibiotics do not interfere with conception. Co-amoxiclav is a very safe antibiotic and can be used even during pregnancy. Feel free and comfortable to use both medications together. They do not cancel out each other.
