Yes, SGPT level is significantly high. You need to stop smoking and you need to stop drinking alcohol if you do drink. There is liver damage. It can be due to any cause. Hepatitis is a common cause due to alcohol, Hepatitis virus infection also. You may get tested for Hepatitis B infection as well if you haven't yet.
