Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand your concern regarding to your wife's problems. Thyroid function is not related to teeth treatment. The most common disease causing hypothyroidism or under active thyroid, is a chronic autoimmune disease. She should keep under close monitoring the thyroid hormones and treat any imbalance to prevent further abortion in the future.

Hope the information will help. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wish her good health.

Regards,
Dr. Mirjeta
