Does Absence Of Fetal Nasal Bone Lead To Fetal Deformities?

I am 21 wks pg. Had my 20 wk scan, nasal bone could not be found. Amnio test done and results for Downs are all clear. Hospital won't rescan me for another 3 weeks to give baby more time to grow. Very concerned about any deformaties without nasal bone.

hello
yes absence of fetal nasal bone is one of the marker for congenital diseases. absent nasal bone alone had more chance for downs syndrome and all.
you should repeat scan and go for chorionic villous sampling for confirmation of deformity.
