Does Abortion Decrease Chances Of Pregnancy?

is it more difficult to get pregnant after an abortion if I am in my 30s?
(I have had 2 abortions previously- when I was 22 and 26)

I am now 34, but not ready for a child at this moment. However I don't want to risk not getting pregnant in the future either.

Hi there,
Welcome to HCM,

Regardless of previous miscarriages, the chances of fertility decrease as the women's age increases.

This decline is more rapid after the age of 37 years .
so if you are planning to have a pregnancy, you could try by the age of 37 years.

Moreover the risk of fetal anomalies and malformation and miscarriage risk also increase with increasing maternal age.

Take folic acid for atleast 3 months prior to getting pregnant.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
