Does Abdominal Pain Occur In Early Pregnancy?
Hello Madam. Good Evening This is Amol Pandav from Nanded Maharashtra.. My wife had 2 missed abortion in last 2 years ..first in nov 2007 and next in may 2008 .. her age is 25 running.. and now she is again expecting ... her LMP was 22nd Dec 2009... the growth of baby was seen in both the times..fetal activity was not seen.. and here at my town some doctors said that it was due to IGM+ and Rubela+ ..now a days she is fine .. IGM is negative now as per TORCH made... But sometimes in night she suffers pain in the lower abdomen for 5 to 20 min ...the pain was like before as seen in last 2 MTPs .. pain now is not that much ceviour but it is .....I want to ask u that generally the pain in lower abdomen is a common sign of pregnancy in first trimester?

No it is not a common sign in early pregnancy.
I don't know whether other doctor started some progesterone support or not.
but with your history of two abortion they must have started it.
secondly there are many reasons for lower abdominal pain in early preganncy
like
sign of abortion in process
sign due to uterine irritation
due to constipation
Due to acidity
smooth pelvic muscle stretching due to increasing size of uterus
urinary tract infection
pelvic infetion
But in early pregnancy we should think of abortion process first and maximum can done by givinge HCG injection and oral progesterone support.
with complete bed rest.
advice bland soft diet.
don't eat spicy , oily or outside food
don't do any jerky work
don't lift heavy object
don't do work while bending
