Does A Tender Red Spot Below The Knee While On Warfarin Suggest Blood Clot?

My husband has a red spot below the knee the size of a orange. It is tender to touch but does not feel hot. He has been diagnosed with blood clots in the past and is still taking warfarin (7.5mg. a day). Did not know if you could get a blood clot while taking warfarin?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if he is on "Warfarin" so such a spot could be due to bleeding beneath skin blood might have escape from micro-capillaries because of thinking properties, this possibility need to be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care.
