Does A Tear In Frenulum Cause Erectile Dysfunction?

Hello sir,Namaste.I have quite a problem. Yesterday while i was having sex the frenulum of my penis got torn and a lot of blood came through it. Firstly i had some pain but the pain has gone now.So i would like to know what are the disadvantages of such? Does it effect on the erection ?Thank you

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Tear in the frenulum does not cause erectile dysfunction. It might cause only difficulty in erection due to pain if the wound is not healed completely. Hence, do not be worried about it as erection is caused by input of blood supply to the spongy tissue present in the shaft of the penis.
Kindly take care of the wound to heal completely by rinsing the lesion with povidine solution and applying antibacterial cream like Neomycin. You may take analgesic medication like Ibuprofen after food in case you have pain.
Wear loose fitting underwear and abstain from sexual activities till the lesion heals completely.
