Does A Ectopic Left Ovary Reduce Chances Of Conception?

hi,i m maried 4 5yrs ttc.last dec.i conceived vd letroz but unfortunatly it was ectopic.got salpigostomy in left tube n at same time folicular cyst was found in ryte ovary n it was drild.now again in sept.i took letroz n my left ovary had a mature follicle dt got reptured bt cud not conceive.doc told after surgery chances of conception in dat tube r reduced.my ryt ovary stoped folicle dev.at 8mm.now again vd letroz follicle on 13th day on lft is 25mm n ryt side is 11mm.doc advised me 2shots of decpeptyle 0.1mg.wl it help.i thnk chances r les on lft side.i want mature follicle on ryt side.r is it dat if 2mnths back lft tube cud not conceive despite having required size of egg,r there possibilities dat it can conceive now?

Hi, I have gone through your question. Yes, the chances of conception decreases when one tube is removed and the follicle develops in the same side ovary.But, it is not impossible to conceive in this scenario, because the sperm can go through the right tube and fertilize the egg in the left ovary, and this is quite common.
I suggest you to follow your doctor's advice and take the injections as advised, and be hopeful.
