Does A Cesarean Section Delivery Have Long Term Problems?

Hi all, My wife recently delivered a baby boy through C-section just 20 days before the due date. The doctor told that since baby is started passing motion inside the womb they need to go for a C-section. I have some questions regarding this 1) Is baby passing motion inside the womb is common. 2) Why baby will pass motion inside the womb 3) When doctor says baby can & will pass urine inside the womb. why it is wrong for it pass motion? 4) When amniotic fluid is started leaking doe it require a compulsory C-section 5) Does C-section have long term health problem 6) Also out of curiosity i want to know does baby boy only pass motion inside the womb. Because 6 of the people whom i know had C-section because baby was passing motion & amniotic fluid was leaking also all of them delivered a baby boy.

Hello,
Here are your answers:1.This can often happen. What is more significant is the associated findings like decreased fetal movements, abnormal stress test, abnormal CTG etc. 2&3. Passing motion indicates some amount of distress while passing urine is a natural phenomenon.4. Leakage of amniotic fluid does not necessitate a cesarean section straightaway. It depends on the amount of leak, duration of leak, progress of labor and other associated complications. 5. A clean surgery and uneventful postoperative phase lead to healthy life later on. Subsequent pregnancies need spacing and regular monitoring.6. Nothing of that sort. Hope this helps.
