Does A PVC Cause A Drop In Blood Pressure?

I had my first PVC episode. Is it normal for PVC's to last about an hour? When my heart started beating normally again, my blood pressure had gone from 136/88 to 110/60. What does that mean? I am a 42YO Male, Healthy, exercise, I don't smoke and rarely drink alcohol. I do not take meds.

Hi there

I have read the details provided by you and i understand your concern. Now answering your first query i would like to tell you that PVC's can last for any duration of time may be a day or week or even months. Now when PVC's happen after every PVC heart contracts more vigorously to compensate for that previously happened premature beat due to which your BP is going slightly more than your usual BP.
Now when your heart return back to normal rhythm it need not pump vigorously to compensate for anything.
BP of 110/60 is within normal limits for a healthy person.

I wish you Good Health
