hi,
yes verapamil is used for high BP..
it belongs to class o calcium channel blockers..it also has many other uses..
in your case it is used to control the heart rate..
both verapamil and doxazocin decrease BP..
if your doctor knows about you taking doxazocin he would have adjusted dose accordingly..
i you have any dizziness attacks or fainting attacks when you get up from sitting and sleeping positions meet the doctor..he will adjust the dose accordingly..
I find this answer helpful
