Does Tri-sprintec Help To Prevent Pregnancy?

I had unprotected sex last night and my boyfriend didn t finish inside of me but I m still worried about pre. I took 4 tri sprintek pills about 12 hours after and plan on taking 4 more. Will this be truly effective? I also plan on taking real Plan B on Monday. Thank you

Understand your concern
Yes tri-spintec oral contraceptive pill use as a emergency contraceptive pills in the absence of plan B pill/morning after pills.
4 talet should be taken as early as possible or with in 72 hours and another 4 tablets after 12 hours to prevent the pregnancy.
So take your another 4 tablet after 12 hours and no need of the Plan pills.
But chance of hormonal imbalance is more while using tri-sprintec so your period will be delayed/earlier.
If period will be delayed by 10-12 days then confirm the pregnancy as every contraception has some failure rate.
