My mother is in the hospital and is on tramadol three times a day, percocet twice a day, extra strength tylenol three times a day and has some renal deficeincy. Past few days is confused and eyes look droopy. concerned about build up in the body. Spoke with my sister and think tramadol should be looked at and possibly reduce dosage

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have droopy eyes and confused state of mind. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like mirgaine , allergy or sinusitis , but in your case the symptoms are probably due to tramadol as its side effects . Tramadol is known to cause blurriness and confusion . I would suggest you to consult doctor who prescribed you this medicine and discuss the condition with him . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . For now drink plenty of water and wash tour eyes with cold water .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
