Does Topzole Cause Muscle Cramps In Hands?

Please tell if Topzole can cause cramps in your hands I have been on them for a month plus anti-inflamatories for a trigger thumb Op on left hand The cramps started about a week ago and I stopped the anti-inflams to see what it was but carried on with the Topzole. Both my hands are cramping badly on and off all day and my fingers feel a little stiff

Hello and thanks for your question. Cramping is not a common side effect of tapazole. Cramps are most often caused by inadequate fluid intake or lack of certain vitamins or minerals. Try drinking more water and avoiding caffeine and alcohol (they are dehydrating) and adding a multivitamin/multimineral supplement daily. If this does not get rid of your cramps in a few weeks then see your doctor for an exam and some blood tests.
