Does Tikosyn Overdose Cause Adverse Side Effects?

i take medicine twice daily and i realized this evening when i was about to take my second dose of 500mcg tykosyn of the day that i had probably already taken it this morning, maybe an hour or so after the first dose. 1st 6:30ish 2nd 8:00ish am. i felt fine all day till i realized the possible double dose. i skipped my evening meds, thinking i d had them already and planned to start again in the morning but I ve gotten worried and read of the seriousness of the tykosyn overdose. it s been 15 or 16 hours now, should i go to the emergency room?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You do not need to go to the emergency. Since you have not yet had any adverse reaction till now, just observe. It will not disturb you. I will advise you just continue with your next dose in the morning and avoid missing or doubling doses.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
