Hello Mrs. Lopez and welcome.

Progyluton is a hormonal therapy drug that will help to reduce your symptoms as you already know and can be used for as long as you have the symptoms. It will most certainly help in restricting progression of the fibroid, but how much it can contribute to the shrinking of the fibroid is arguable.

You could keep monitoring the size of the fibroid every 6 months through ultrasound examinations to see if there is infact a change in size.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
