Hello dear Understand your concern. Yes prednisone cause loss of control over bladder. Because it contain steroid and steroids affects the bladder smooth muscle which lead to loss of control. It can be prevented by using lower possible dose and by pelvic floor strengthening exercise. But other cause like prostate enlargement, stone and tumor in urinary tract, prostatitis, constipation, neurological disturbance should be excluded by consulting the urologist. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
