Does Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome Affect Pregnancy?

Hi doctor, i'm 34 years old and my husband and i have 2 kids and we've been trying to have another child for about almost 2years now and so far we're not pregnant. i've noticed that i've been having small clots of blood whenever i've had my monthly period. do you think it's ovarian polyps or cysyts? or do you think it's cervical polyp? or uterine polyps? i've also been experiencing some small pains sometimes on the left or on the right whenever i have my period. how do i treat it without going to my OB-gyn? or before i go to my ob-gyn? or do these cysts or polyps affect me from conceiving a child?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Inability to conceive can be due to many causes , which need to be investigated. Both you and your husband need to undergo infertility investigations to find the cause and get appropriate treatment.
Passing clots in the periods can be due to any pathology in the uterus like fibroid, or due to local lesions in the vagina or cervix like polyp. You need a proper internal examination and ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
