Does Nexpro-20 Help To Cure Throat Problem?

I am 65 yrs old. I have been suffering some throat problem due to always persist some liquid cough in my throat and when I wake-up in the moning I am coughing regularly. Can I get relief by taking Nexpro-20 medicine - one day and one night fro one month. My bowl is clearing regularly. Please suffest?

Nexpro is mainly used to control Hyper acidity . Sometimes cough can happen due to reflux of acid from stomach to throat , only in such kind of situation Nexpro would be helpful .

But most of the times Soar throat with cough is due to infection of Throat either viral or bacterial . In such cases Nexpro will be of no use . I advise you consult your doctor , He shall examine your throat and decide whether it's due to infection or Acid reflux and treat accordingly .

Till then do Salt water gargling 3-4 times a day. , Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits

welcome to hcm,
nexpro is esomeprasole it is used for gastritis.it will not have any action in your throat. and cough.
if you have a throat pain and dry cough it will not help you
cough may be due to bacterial or viral infection.
you may need some decongestants , anti histamines and antibiotics to get recover from cough.
