Does Naxdom 250 Cause Any Side Affects To Liver Or Stomach?
Hi, I am having chronic migraine since years (infact since birth) and all the doctors have described tried and tested, I had all types of therapies too. Previously I was taking Inderal 10 MG daily dosage and attacks seemed to be mild once in two-three months. Now I am taking Naxdom 250 when attacks are major. I was under prescription of a Neurosurgeon too. My question to you is does Naxdom 250 cause any side affects to Liver or stomach? As when I checked my Cholesterol level I have got Triglycerides above average this time. Is it really the cause and do I need to continue Naxdom or Inderal? Which one seems to be controlling chronic migraine?
hi.. naxodom is naproxen it is a nsaid(non steroidal anti inflammatory drug) that reduces your pain and inflammation if anything... but it affters your GI system by increasing gastrairis if used continuously for long.. but it can be reduced by using a proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazile with it.. as such it doesn't have significant effect on ur liver
so add a ppi(pantoprazole 40g to ur prescription and use naproxen if u havnt to take it regularly... for severe pain naproxen would be better for acute attack and inderal for maintain ance
thankyou
