Does Naproxen For Dequervains Tenosynovitis Cause Stomach Ulcer?
I was diagnosed with Dequervains tenosynovitis and prescribed Naproxen which has greatly relieved the pain and swelling. Will the tendons continue to heal when I am done taking the Naproxen? One of the rare side effects is an ulcer or ulcer from gastric fluid. I have only been on Naproxen for approx. 30 days and when I eat may stomach starts to hurt, so think maybe an ulcer is developing. What are your thoughts?

Hello.It is advisable when Naproxen is used, taking together a proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole).Although you have already completed the intake of naproxen, I recommend start now taking a proton pump inhibitor.Please consult your doctor for a prescription.
