Hi. usually mirena causes irregular bleeding or spotting continues , breast tenderness, and sometimes heavy bleeding. It may be the side effects of this . It is a progesterone releasing device. Heartburn, nausea can also be there, but itching of nipples may be some skin rash. Consult your dr. once and you may apply an antibiotic cream with steroid combination.
Thanks.
