Does Metronidazole And Fluconazole Affect Unborn Babies?
Hello I am 34 weeks pregnant and was perscribed meds for a yeast infection and I bacterial vaginocos . I was given Metronidazole 500mg twice a day for 7 days and Fluconazole 150mg. I wanted to know if yhis coul in any way effect my baby couse any anomalies. I would greatly appreciate if someone could let me know so i could feel more calm about taking these medications. Thank you

Both metronidazole and fluconazole have no side effects on your unborn baby.
But you should treat BV because it may cause preterm birth and low birth weight .
Use much water and be calm because your baby will be good.
