Does Methotrexate Interact With Amoxicillin?
I have been taking methotrexate for about 5 months. I last went to the dentist 6 months ago. I take amoxicillin before dental procedures. I want to know if this is a drug interaction I should be concerned since I take so much amoxicillin all at once. When I read the printout for the methotrexate it tells about a bad interaction between these two drugs and I looked on web MD and they say it is a serious interaction. I am not taking a whole course of the amoxicillin, but wanted to check anyway since I do take a one time high dose. Thank you
