Does Mensovit Plus Capsules Work Effective For Abortion?

Hello Doctor,I am 30 years old,I have one kid.Recently I missed my period,means the date was 14 th june,After 10 days I tested for pregnancy test,and the resullt was positive.I don t want to get pregnant,so I took Mensovit Plus capsules.Now I want to know whether it will work or not..as I have taken 6 capsules for 2 days...Please suggest what to do....? Thanks.

Mensovit plus does not cause abortion. It is herbal medicine used to regularize the period. For safe and successful abortion you have to used gynecologist's prescribed abortion pill after confirming intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan.
Abortion should be done under supervision of gynecologist.
Mifepristone 600 mg orally should be followed by misoprostol 800 ug vaginally/buccally by gynecologist (should be put high in vagina). If more dose is required should be given after 6 hour.
Bleeding and cramps will start 30-50 minutes after last abortion pill and it will remain for 4-5 days. You should contact the doctor if bleeding is continue after 7 days. Completeness of abortion should be checked at 14th day by USG.
Use safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancy in future.
