Does Medrol Possess Any Side Effect?

Hello, I can look them up on the net, dar if you would answer short: What are the side effects of taking Medrol = dose pack. I am a 75 old woman with a T8-T9 hernieted disk - and some irradiated pain along my lower thoracic cage. It was suggested by my chiro. MRI results: paracentral soft disc hernietion T8-9.; no myelomalacia or other myelitis or mass. Also: mild thoracic spondilosis I am avoiding any medication, as much as possible.

It's really small. The serious consequences of steroids are dependent on being on them a LONG time (months). So, the dose of the first few days of the medrol can cause msucle, bone and joint degeernation, lower immunity, changes in fat distribution, if one were on it for months. and at fairly moderate to high doses. On the other hand, even a few days can make diabetes worse (but only if you are diabetic).
