Does Levolin Syrup Help In Relieving Cough In An Infant?

My daughter had fever(viral) (may be bday fever) as she will turn one year old after 10 days...fever which subsided after 3 days was followed by cough and running nose...will Levolin syrup ( levosalbutamol syrup 1mg/5ml)-cipla.help her get a relief from coughing.?? Pls help

I understand your concern.
See, levolin syrup is a very good drug in cough and respiratory distress. You can give her levolin but only after discussing it with her peadiatric doctor. Because, a clinical examination is required before diagnosing any problem and providing drugs for that. Also, paracetamol syrup is a good choice for combating fever if it recurs but that too only after consultation with a doctor.
