Does IV Give Any Side Effects For Tests?

i had 3 nights of drinking heavily, and ended up in an emergency room. I ended up signing a paper stating I did not want medical attention. I am currently in treatment, and am curious if the may have given me anything in the IV they started that may affect a test??

Dear Friend
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.
Why would they do this?
IV fluids especially dextrose with thiamine are given to alcoholics when they land up in emergency.
If you had been drinking so badly, then your tests reports would already be affected.
This is my best advise for you based on available details. If you have any further query, please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
