Does Fluoxetine Affect Implanon Implant?

Hi, I've been using the Implanon Implant for 5 months and everything has been working fine. I got perscribed "Fluoxetine" and been taking it for the past 2 weeks. My period is a few days late, I maybe being paranoid but does Fluoxetine affect the Implanon Implant?

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

There were no interactions found in our database between Implanon and Fluxetine.

However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist.

Hence a pregnancy test done to exclude pregnancy ,if you haven't had any other delay periods .
