Does Femilon For Ovarian Cyst Help In Preventing Pregnancy?
my wife is using femilon from last two month as she had cyst in his ovary. So the doctor prescribed her for femilon and also said that it will prevent from pregnancy. A complete course of 21 days.. Now we had unprotected intercourse on her 7th day of period. does femilon prevent it from pregnancy??

If you had unprotected sexual intercourse whilst on femilon or during the 7 days off it, you should be protected from conception. But if you had unprotected sexual contact long after the course was completed then, the chances change. I would recommend you to continue the pills for a longer duration of time, and use a secondary contraceptive method like condoms during the 7 days off the pill.
