Does Esperal Have Any Side Effect On Drinking Alcohol?
Doctor, I am taking Esperal-Disulpiram for drug addiction and now i had on business get together. so i have to take small alcohol. i have found that esperal had a bad effect on alcohol when it takes. so how many days have to stop esperal to take alcohol without any bad effect

Dear, I would like to inform you that you would have to stop Esperal Disulfiram for a minimum of a week to be absolutely sure that there is no acetaldehyde formation on intake of alcohol. Furthermore, let me tell you that even if you use alcohol based perfumes on this combination, you could have problems. Regards, Dr. Neel Kudchadkar.
