Does Emphysema Indicate Lung Cancer?
Is emphysema cancer of the lungs? I get really tight in the chest, pain in chest and shoulders and arms and can t breath Can it be emphysema? I am a smoker and find it hard to quit. Im also very tired most of the time and I get very fast palpitations at times and other times my heart just flutters The ecg and heart exray and blood test don t show anything with the heart.

I really appreciate your concern, Emphysema can not be malignant the symptoms that you have may not be due to emphysema but it could be bronchiectasis the underlying cause could be smoking and allergic condition hope this information helps.
