Does Coatal-forte Arthemeter 80mg And Lumefantrine 480mg Contain Septrin?
I m allergic to chloroquine and Septrin. Today I visited the hospital and I was given some fairly big yellow tablets for which I was told to take i tablets twice daily. However, on getting home, I realised that I forgot to tell the doctor about my allergies. Now I m actually very scared of taking these yellow tablets! I have looked at the underside of the satchet and I can see ...Coatal-Forte Arthemeter 80mg Lumefantrine 480mg written there. What does this mean? Does this drug contain Septrin?

It does't contain Septrin or Chloroquine. So, there's nothing to worry about it.
Coatal-forte is a combination of two drugs Artemether & Lumefantrine .
It is used in the treatment of malaria infections.
It does't contain sulfur hence can be taken as per the prescription given by the doctor.
