Does Cinnarizine Contain Betahistine?
I am allergic to Serc (betahistine) and wondered if I can take Cinnarizine instead. Does Cinarizine contain betahistine ? My allergic reaction is immediate and severe. I have labyrinthitis, hearing loss and no compensation from the brain at all. I have been like this for 20 years, but it is getting worse these past few months. I will be travelling on a ship and in case I get motion sickness, I thought I would take some medication with me. Thank you, Sandra

Cinnarizine is a drug derivative of piperazine, and characterized as an antihistamine and a calcium channel blocker.
It belongs to a different class and is different from betahistine medication.
It is a drug of choice for motion sickness.
