Does Candizole Vaginal Tablet Cause Fetal Harm?

I just inserted candizole vaginal tablet that I got from de clinic and now realised after reading the leaflet that its not safe during firstTrimester now I m worried sick about it harming my unborn baby, I m eight weeks old preggas pls ease my mind I ll never forgive myself if sumthing happened to my baby..... *WORRIED*

I believe candizole contains the drug flucanazole which is under category c under teratogenic drugs...which means available human data doesn't show that single dose of drug cause foetal abnormality but animal studies shows some risk...so in all probability your baby will be fine...but to relieve your mind you can see a gynaecologist...Be sure to take an ultrasound in the second trimester...
