Hello,
These medications help in inducing ovulation and if all other investigations including tubal patency are normal, these help in conception. You should also get your husband's status checked since he is a diabetic. The morphology and the progressive motility of the sperms are more important than the total sperm count alone. You need regular monitoring and timed intercourse at least on alternate days once you initiate this medication. The treatment usually is given for six months by using step-up doses until ovulation is achieved. Hope this helps.
